The Marshall County Board of Education will hold special closed-door interviews today and Saturday to decide who is best fitted to replace retiring Superintendent Fred Renzella.
Our news partner, WTOV9.COM reports it is possible the board could announce who will lead the school system at its March 26 meeting, but if more time is needed, board members could make an announcement April 9.
Renzella is retiring from the school system after serving 48 years as a teacher and administrator.
He became the county's superintendent in 2004.
