Drivers using a stretch of Route 2 in Marshall County could experience some lane closures and traffic delays. 

The West Virginia Division of Highways advises that various lane restrictions will occur at multiple locations in the north and southbound lanes of Route 2 between 5th Street and Roberts Ridge Road through Moundsville, as well as on the Arch Moore Jr Bridge, between Route 2 and the Ohio State Line. 

Traffic message boards will be placed at various locations to alert motorists as to the specific start date and traffic pattern changes. 

The restrictions will be for the purpose of installing or replacing overhead lights and underground wiring as a part of the Moundsville Bridge Lighting Renovation Project, which, is scheduled for completion by January 31, 2014.
