The Ohio State Highway Patrol's post in Steubenville has three new troopers from its last academy graduating class.

Lt. Chris Johnson of the Steubenville post tells News 9 because of funding, economic status and retiring troopers, he has been running with a short-handed staff for over the past year or so.

Troopers Josh O'Donnell, Bryan Parrish and Michael Williams are the newest additions to his crew. Their first day was on Monday, and they will be trained in the field for 60 days before being sent out on their own.
