Officials tell our news partner WTOV9.COM the announcement was made after union leaders met with city officials privately for negotiations. Initially, union leaders thought they would be heading to the meeting to discuss demotions and possible layoffs.
One official says there are some changes ahead, but officials haven't discussed those details yet.
Union leaders say they will meet later with city officials to fine tune the details on upcoming changes, but, as of Monday, all city workers will keep their jobs.
