A 77-year-old Marshall County man is charged with first-degree sexual abuse.

Walter Ora Streight is accused of abusing one adult and two juveniles. 

Chief Deputy Kevin Cecil tells News 9 only one charge has been filed as of Tuesday afternoon but more charges are forthcoming. Cecil says officials are going to wait and indict Streight so the accusers only need to go through the pain of testifying one time.

The first case of abuse is believed to have happened about two months ago in Proctor.

Investigators said Streight then moved to an apartment complex outside of Moundsville.

After complaints, police put him under surveillance and investigators say two more cases of abuse happened within the last 30 days.

Streight was arrested Monday afternoon by Marshall County sheriff’s deputies. He was jailed on $500 bond and is expected to appear in court within the next two to three weeks.
